Hear from Inspired Boot Campers
I started
doing bootcamp in the beginning of August this year. I have so far lose 10
pounds, 5.25% of body fat and two sizes down. That means I have lose inches
around my body. My goal is to be tone, to be strong, fit and healthy. But my
primary reason for doing bootcamp is to improve my sports in running. This has
proven to be correct when I finished two half marathons for October. The San
Jose Rock & Roll half marathon in oct 4th and Nike Womens half marathon on
Oct 18, just last week.Melinda
I have always been an active person, but in the past few
years I have been frustrated with the lack of results of my workouts. I
started Inspire Fitness Boot camps in June 2009 looking for a fun and
challenging workout. What I got was a wonderful coach in Joy Poulsen!
Joy is knowledgeable, tough, supportive and fun!! Every Boot camp
is different and challenging - I still feel every workout the next day. Joy
has pushed me well beyond what I thought I was I capable of
accomplishing. I am stronger than I have been in 20 years and have
dropped a dress size too. Don't be concerned about not being able to keep
up - Joy is an expert at adjusting the workouts for every fitness.
But the best thing about Inspire Fitness Boot camps is the support and
camaraderie of the wonderful women who I workout next to me every week!
Give Inspire Fitness Bootcamps a try it will literally change your life!!Carla S-G
I have been attending Inspire Fitness since December. Joy runs a great
work out and makes it different every time. One day you may find
yourself working on your kickboxing technique but doing yoga the next.
Her circuit training kicks our butts in the best way possible. We huff
n puff our way through the workout but there are always accommodations
for different levels. You can kick it up a notch or slow it down.
Whatever you do you are bound to get a nice workout.
The women in the classes are always friendly and the classes are not too full.
If
you commit to going for 6 months you get a discount, though you only
pay a month at a time. It's a good way to make sure you are attend. I
have never worked out in my life (read NEVER) until August of last
year. Thanks to my initial few months of working with a personal
trainer (got too expensive way too fast) and finding Joy I feel like
this is not just a fad for me but a life style change. On the days I am
not with Inspire Fitness I am going on a hike with a friend and am
currently contemplating a 5K run in the spring.
Thanks Inspire Fitness for inspiring me to get in shape and stay that way! Zoya
I want to commend Joy and her assistant
Angela for being able to create a program where all participants
benefit both physically and mentally. They not only teach that
everyone's fitness level, our struggles and gains, as well as our
pains, are all different and thats OK. They actually manage each
individual accordingly so the work out is customized to you. I thought
I signed up for just a class and I have received so much more. I feel
like I have a life coach, nutritionist, and personal trainer all in
one. Joy sends encouraging emails and health information on a weekly
basis and its always in sync with our workouts there are no delays. We
don't just get ever changing and challenging physical work outs, we are
educated on nutrition, and work out equipment, we get a bit of humor
and spiritual healing all rolled up in one package. Joy works well
with all ages and fitness levels. She does modifications for those of
us that are injured or have parts implanted to keep us put together.
Joy definitely talks the talk and walks the walk. It's a lead by
example and I like that she sweats right along with us. If you're up
for some fun that includes sweat and sore muscles, and you want to meet
motivated women then sign up for Boot Camp with Joy and make sure you
invest in epsom salt.
Ladies, if you don't know what the meaning and value associated to the
words "TRX, TABATA, KETTLEBELLS AND PARTNER BANDS" then you must join
Joy and Angela for one of their boot camps to find out. You will not
regret your decision. I know, from experience, that once you have
completed your boot camp you will be stronger, healthier, and more
confident with you physical skill set, as well as being richer in
friendships and inspiration then when you started out and Ladies THAT'S
A GREAT THING. Boot camp On and keep the epsom salt at hand.
One day at a time, one boot camp at a time, and together we can all move toward a healthier lifestyle.
Bravo Joy and Angela

I have been fortunate to participate in various programs offered by
Inspire Fitness, and have loved them all. Truly designed by and for
women. The opportunity to take your fitness program outdoors and try
new ways of using your muscles is fabulous. You will not miss the neon
lights and intimidating atmosphere of those big club/gyms, and in fact
may never go back after exercising with Inspire Fitness! If you have
any issues with previous injury or limitations, you'll love the
personal attention and modifications offered to help you get the most
of your workout. As an added bonus, you'll find that you make new
friends within the group of ladies you're with. If you're ready to put
the focus on getting stronger and fitter, this program is for you.

Being a retired warrant officer from the Army the sound of
boot camp caught my eye.
Even though I did my last boot camp in 1957 Joys positive
attitude that with modifications of the variety of exercises offered that I
could meet my fitness level. Having the training out doors was a great change
from being inside a gym.
Joy inspired me to do my best along with my comrades
cheering each other on. I could feel myself becoming stronger each week and the
end results had shown me boot camp did make a difference.
Boot camp is a motivating exercise program, try it, you
won't be sorry.

I think you are doing a terrific job!!! Each class
there's a new focus and you're very creative ways add fun and variety to the
class!!! If I were to do this over again, I would sign up for 3 times a
week & would want it to extend beyond 4 weeks!!! And yes, I do feel
that my upper body is stronger...my natural strength has always been my legs
BUT even they are hurting after classes!!!
Thank you again!!! My plan for the remaining sessions is to keep pushing
myself around the core stuff!!
